2009 Annual Picnic

The annual Buffalo AFL-CIO Labor Picnic was help on Friday July 31, 2009 in Elma Meadows Park in Elma New York. We were treated to a beautifully clear day with moderate temperatures. The air was filled with the sweet sounds from members of AFM Local 92 and the scents and smells of BBQ foods and Italian Sausage cooking. Over 400 union members and friends came out to enjoy the day. Many local elected officials and candidates were also in attendance. New York State Comptroller, Thomas DiNapoli came out to say hello to members and friends of organized labor.
