Speak Out To Save Mail Processing Jobs In Buffalo
The United States Postal Service has scheduled a meeting to discuss the proposed consolidation of the Buffalo Processing and Distribution Center into the Rochester P&DC. Unfortunately, they are not sending out notice of such to all postal customers or small businesses. Instead, the notice is being sent to media outlets and some 400 customers who do more than $15,000 in business with them per year. We believe that all postal customers regardless of status should be notified in the same fashion.
In addition, the Postal Service has released to the media and political leaders misleading information regarding the impact on employees in the Buffalo area and the potential number of lost jobs.
Say NO to moving Buffalo's Mail Processing to Rochester. Please, join us on Wednesday January 4, 2012 at John F. Kennedy High School, 305 Cayuga Creek Road, Cheektowaga, New York from 6pm to 8pm. This is your opportunity to let them know how important our mail service is to us.
If you cannot attend, please submit comments in writing by sending them to:

Public comments will not be accepted if postmarked later than, January 20, 2012.
